Scenario 1 · Migration
Re-evaluating an existing platform
Including Salesforce Service Cloud, when requirements, economics, operating model or appetite for complexity change enough to make a fresh look worthwhile.

Partner growth briefing · Zendesk + Amazon Connect
Expand beyond the platform you sell today. Grow software revenue, professional services and ongoing customer relationships.

Written for CCaaS partners and Zendesk partners, equally.
How the work has usually been split
One partner sells and implements the contact center. Another owns the CRM, ITSM or customer service platform. Both touch the integration between them. The software and services revenue ends up divided.
Plenty of partners have built strong practices this way. But it means the partner who already has the relationship often leaves part of the opportunity to someone else.

Service platform partner
The opening: a partner who can bring both together can take a bigger role in the same initiative.
What the customer actually runs
A caller who started in chat, checked the help center and was escalated by an AI agent expects the next person to know all of it. That only works when these pieces work together, whoever sold them.
The partner ecosystem has often treated each piece as a separate opportunity. The customer treats it as one.
Your customer’s CX
Zendesk belongs in the conversation
Zendesk positions its offering as a resolution platform: one place for the service work, the channels, the knowledge and the AI that sit around a customer’s issue.
Scenario 1 · Migration
Including Salesforce Service Cloud, when requirements, economics, operating model or appetite for complexity change enough to make a fresh look worthwhile.
Scenario 2 · Greenfield
A new support team, brand, region or service line that needs a scalable platform from day one.
Fit comes first. Not every customer should move, and Zendesk isn’t automatically the cheaper or simpler choice. The partner’s job is to assess fit honestly. That credibility is what earns the next project.
Capabilities summarized from zendesk.com, October 2026. Availability varies by plan.
Bringing the two together
The two have worked together since 2017. Today there is more than one way to deploy them, and the options aren’t interchangeable.
Option A
Zendesk’s own add-on, powered by Amazon Connect, with voice and digital in the Zendesk workspace. The Connect instance runs in a Zendesk-provisioned AWS account or the customer’s own.
Option B
A customer-run Amazon Connect environment connected to Zendesk through a supported integration. Can suit customers with an existing Connect investment or complex telephony.
Option C
Where the customer’s requirements, existing contracts or constraints justify a different design, and current supported capabilities allow it.
What differs between options: commercial model, who provisions and owns what, feature set and support boundaries. Confirm each for the actual opportunity.
A timely conversation. Zendesk ends support for the Zendesk Amazon Connect Integration by TTEC on 1 April 2027. Customers using it need a plan, and partners can help them make it. Sources: Zendesk announcement, 30 April 2026 · partnership history, No Jitter, Dec 2025
Where you start
Where both paths lead
A more complete solution for the customer, and a larger potential role for you.
Your next step: pick the path that matches your practice today. The rest of this briefing adapts to it. Your next step: identify the CCaaS customers in your base whose service platform is up for review. Your next step: identify the Zendesk customers in your base still running a separate or legacy phone system.
Bigger than licensing
A platform sale or migration can open several distinct, complementary streams over time: recurring software, project services, ongoing services and the next opportunity.
Which streams apply depends on your commercial agreements, your delivery model and the customer. None is automatic, and no margins or deal values are implied here.
Follow-on
Further integration, AI, automation, analytics and workflow improvements found through the relationship.
Recurring
Platform administration, support, optimization and continuous improvement, where you can provide or arrange them.
Zendesk administration, workflow changes and optimization alongside the contact center services you already run.
Contact center operations support, call-flow changes and monitoring alongside your Zendesk services.
Project
Discovery, solution design, migration, implementation, integration, workflow configuration, testing and training.
Discovery, Zendesk design and configuration, migration from the current service platform, integration, testing and training.
Contact center discovery and architecture, call flows and routing, telephony migration, integration, testing and training.
Recurring
Zendesk and contact center licensing or resale, according to your commercial model.
Zendesk licensing or resale, where your agreement allows, next to the contact center revenue you have today.
Contact center software through the right commercial model: Zendesk Contact Center or Amazon Connect.
Strategic account value
A partner involved in more of the CX environment can potentially:
For the customer: fewer gaps between providers, a more coordinated solution, and easier access to the expertise the outcome needs.
These are opportunities, not guaranteed results. They are earned by delivering well on the first project.
How Cresyn and Omningage help
You don’t need to hire a new team before you pursue the first deal. The right expertise can be brought into each opportunity to complement what you already do.

Cresyn is Omningage’s U.S. partner, leading its U.S. efforts as an extension of the Omningage team.
Partner-led by design. Cresyn doesn’t sell directly to end customers. Not every engagement needs every party: we bring in what the opportunity requires, scoped case by case.
Next step
You don’t need to build an entirely new practice before exploring it. Start with the customers you know, the capabilities you have, and the part of the CX environment you’d like to expand into.
Choose your starting point
A first conversation covers your current practice, your customer base and where you want to expand. No commitment.
